As if to illustrate my recent posts about meetings (here and here), yesterday afternoon I had a nice example. Two of us (the naive guys) having arrived on time, we waited for the other two participants to show up. This wait included some unsuccessful phone calls to said participants and some relaxed banter about digital photography. Finally we managed to get through to them. When they entered the room, they dumped their papers on the table and promptly went off again to fetch something to drink. The meeting started some 25-30 minutes late, which, I have to admit, is a bit late even around here... That's life, folks!
