Tonight I'm taking a trip down memory lane. Well, not exactly, as these are not memories I possess myself. Let me explain.
I'm a big fan of the music of Genesis, especially of their seventies period. Problem is, I only discovered their music around 1983 (the "Mama" period). So I've never had the chance to witness them live on stage in those glorious "early days" (I went to their 1992 and 1997 concerts though).
Now there is this tribute band called "The Musical Box", who are reproducing the early Genesis live shows, and it seems they do this very convincingly and faithfully, down to the smallest details. I heard from friends who already saw them that, while not the real thing, they are really worth seeing. So tonight and tomorrow, I'll have a big hole in my musical culture filled. Today they do the 1972 "Foxtrot" tour, tomorrow "Selling England by the Pound" from 1973. And according to a friend, the 1974 "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" is in the works for later this year.
I'm really curious...
Give me a nudge when they get to 'And then there were three'

I'm afraid there won't be much nudging anytime soon ;-) The Musical Box is explicitly focussing on the Peter Gabriel period, so "...and then there were three..." is not likely to ever happen...
