In spite of what the limited number of blog entries these last weeks might indicate, I'm still alive and do still intend to keep this blog going as well, very much so. But these last weeks I've been struggling with a lack of inspiration on one hand, and a state of global tiredness on the other, with the latter certainly influencing the former...
Suffice it to say that my new T3 is still sitting in its box, waiting for me to find the energy and the time to properly initialise it. Which probably won't be happening this year any more, as I'm soon off for a week's rest at the coast, far from any PC or internet connection...
...which also means it's highly probable that this will be my last post for the year. So to anyone happening to stumble across this post, my very best (although belated) wishes for a peaceful Christmas period, and all the best in the new year.
Before I leave you, one important suggestion: do not bother with new year's resolutions, as these are generally doomed to fail and thus a certain recipe for feelings of guilt and frustration within a few weeks. I've learned, as many have, that the vague sense of "I should be doing something" which prevails at this time of the year is never a good motivation. Just let it pass, and enjoy the company of those dear to you instead. And when you feel you're ready to make some changes, you'll know, and your chances of success will be much higher.
Happy New Year!
